we have made our rules and guidelines as short and as sweet as possible. we are app-free! this means no wire, discord, telegram, etc. fp & customs only. use an ooc journal to set up. post an ic and an ooc post. your ooc post should have character information that tells us their full name, birthday and age, hometown, occupation, etc. blurbs are encouraged but not required. preplanning lines in pbads is fine but we strongly encourage you come in with an organic mindset and only set up important lines. you don't have to figure something out with everyone that joins or pops up in pbads. we would rather you approach people in character. don't be too serious - expect characters to put themselves out there, sleep around, date around and participate in in character drama. we are not here to be a pretentious or serious community. let loose and embrace the sides of rp that ij seems to have shied away from over the last few years. clean slate, friendly attitude - we really don't care about drama from past communities, who is who, anon bullies or any of the noise that stops us from simply writing characters in an ij community. this is a blank slate for all. as long as you follow the rules you are welcome to join. it is simple: be kind and stay in your own lane. * this statement excludes the obvious: people with known histories of being predators ic and ooc. see creeps need not apply rule. update once a month, be active - you should still be putting effort into updating despite the nature of sordidly. character development should be important to you. your updates can be anything you'd like so long as reasonable effort is put forth. activity odds and ends - as is normal with most pb communities we will remove anyone with a flist out of date over seven days unless you asked for an extension or let us know you may be absent. eveyone gets busy but if you're too busy to run the button once a week you need to request a hiatus or let us know you can't login for any reason. we reserve the right to remove any pb hogs that are not present on the fp at least once a week. landing yourself in a group of friends or a sl does not mean you shouldn't be commenting intros and other posts. this shouldn't need to be said but we ask that you do not take on more characters than you can handle. we prefer you bring no more than two. creeps need not apply - being a smut centric community does not mean there aren't any lines that can be crossed. be self-aware and pay attention to social cues in and out of character. any behavior that crosses a line will be removed. anyone behaving abusive in character or out of character will be removed. sexual harassment is not tolerated, any harassment is not tolerated. being a smut community does not entitle you to everyone's attention. not safe for work content - you must always tag any material that is nsfw as nsfw. do not post pornographic gifs, images or gifs on the fp. you must have consent in character or out of character before sending any graphic images of any nature.
